Trusted Pros FAQ.
How Trusted Pros and household-service listings work for vendors and service professionals.
Top questions
Who can become a Trusted Pro?
Trusted Pros is open to professional-service providers in all categories. Providers must be approved by CoverHome, give accurate business information and keep every license, registration and insurance policy that applicable law and CoverHome’s communicated requirements call for.
What information do I receive?
The service category the consumer chose, a short note only if they wrote one, and their contact details only if they explicitly opted in on that request. You do not receive their structured household composition or a full Household Fit profile.
How do referrals work?
For household services, CoverHome shares a request only when a consumer submits one in a specific category. Only vendors subscribed to that category see it. Vendors do not bid for requests and CoverHome does not charge a per-request or per-lead fee.
Does paying guarantee referrals?
No. A subscription or listing does not guarantee any minimum number of requests, customers or completed jobs, and vendors do not bid for individual requests.
Does CoverHome verify licenses?
CoverHome runs a point-in-time eligibility review against the requirements it communicates. It is not a guarantee, endorsement or assessment of service quality, and CoverHome may request supporting documentation.
What does it cost?
Claiming a Basic Trusted Pros listing costs nothing. Paid annual plans are Founding at $99 for the first year (launch cohort), Standard at $149 per year, and Featured at $299 per year. Household Services plans start at $99 a month, with the monthly price set by service category.
Can lenders, title companies and other settlement-service providers participate?
Yes, on the same advertising terms as other Trusted Pros: fixed annual advertising fees paid by the provider, not tied to any consumer transaction.
Joining
What is Trusted Pros?
A Professional Advertising & Directory product. It gives participating providers an agent-facing profile and presence. Participation is advertising and platform access. Agents decide independently whether to use any provider, and the consumer makes the final choice.
Is insurance required?
You must maintain the insurance that applicable law and CoverHome’s communicated requirements call for. Report any expiration, suspension, revocation or material change promptly, and provide renewal evidence when a policy renews.
What happens if my insurance or license lapses?
CoverHome may automatically pause your access while required evidence is missing or eligibility is reviewed, and may suspend or end access for loss of required credentials or insurance.
Profiles and visibility
Can I pay for higher placement?
Enhanced positioning is labeled Featured, and Featured is paid advertising. Founding and Featured listings in any category are paid advertising.
Does vendor participation affect property-search results?
No. A marketplace relationship never changes which homes a consumer sees, their order or which real estate agent they choose.
Do agents have to use a Trusted Pro?
No. A listing, paid or free, is advertising. It is not a recommendation, endorsement or referral by CoverHome, and it is not tied to any consumer transaction.
Consumer requests
Can I contact consumers who did not ask for contact?
No. Use request information only to respond to and fulfill that consumer’s specific request. Do not sell it, share it for unrelated purposes, or add the consumer to unrelated marketing without separate, legally valid permission.
How must I handle request information?
Protect it from unauthorized access, limit access to staff who need it, delete it securely once it is no longer needed (unless a legal obligation requires keeping it), and do not use it to train or improve AI or machine-learning models.
Does a consumer have to hire me?
No. Consumers are never required to use any provider, and you are responsible for your own quotes, agreements, work and compliance with law.
Fees and membership
Does CoverHome charge per lead or take part of what a consumer pays me?
No. Fees are fixed advertising, directory and platform fees. They are not based on referrals, transactions, loan volume or closings, and there is no separate per-request or per-lead charge.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Payment, cancellation and refund terms are in the subscription or listing agreement. Self-serve purchases show the price, renewal interval and cancellation method before you buy. Questions: hello@coverhome.app.
Regulated categories
Are additional rules applied to regulated categories?
Additional rules may apply to regulated providers and settlement services, and you must keep every license your category requires.
Does CoverHome require a consumer to use a particular provider?
No. Consumers are free to choose any provider, including one outside CoverHome, and participation does not affect which agent a consumer is routed to.
Quality and compliance
How does CoverHome evaluate vendors?
Vendors are approved before they receive requests, using the point-in-time eligibility review described above. Approval is not an endorsement or a guarantee of work.
Can CoverHome remove a vendor?
Yes. CoverHome may suspend or end access for inaccurate information, loss of required credentials or insurance, misuse of consumer information, unlawful conduct or a material violation of the vendor terms.
How should I report a security or privacy incident involving a referral?
Email hello@coverhome.app with the subject line “Security Report” or “Privacy Request”.
